Goal Setting
Goal Setting and Power sentences is a powerful tool you can use both within your Martial Arts and every day life…
Goal Setting:
Goal Setting is making a plan over your main goal and part goals…….
This can be compared to the ranking system within Martial Arts, lets say your main goal is Instructor (Black Belt).
Then your part goals would be the Kyu (Color belts) degrees, then you have your plan with main goal and part goals….. ![]()
The part goals works as stepping stones towards your main goal…
Next step is to use is together with Power Sentences….
Power Sentences:
The way to use Power Sentences is you take your next goal or part goal, lets say that is Green belt that next step on the way to your main goal (Instructor = Black Belt).
You then make a Power Sentences like:
Try to say this sentence 2-3 daily and remember to believe in it, the reason you are say you are a great green belt and not, i will be a great great green belt is that by saying it like you have not got the belt yet, you keep pushing the event out in the future….
You have to say this sentences like you believe in it and it already did happen, that way its much more easy to make your subcon. believe you really are a good green belt and help you start acting like one…..
